Challenge # 25: Use a CD - As a card or on the card

Hi all, hope you had a great week so far....what wonderful Mothers day/Special Lady cards you all made, you keep getting better and better every time, which is making it very hard to pick the winners each fortnight........phew!!
Watch out for the winners announcement and top 3 next Wednesday....
This week we are asking you to create a card with a CD, either have a CD on it, or use the CD as the shape of your card, or cut it up and mosaic it, let your imagination roam...
This will be interesting, can't wait to see what you can come up with...
Our most generous sponsors are:

QKR stamps
Winner gets to pick 3 Digi stamps

Eureka Stamps
Winner gets to pick 3 Digi Stamps

Don't forget if you are a winner or top 3 and want to be a Guest Designer, please send us an email with the subject line Guest Designer and we will fit you in...we figured no point hasseling people, unless you actually want to be a GD....

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Mrs A.....such a talented lady...

Just beautiful, well done, so many details, not sure where to look first.....

This is what our Dragonflies have made, just gorgeous, I am sure these wonderful creations will get you inspired......

Wynn is using the CD as the focal point with pansies from Eureka

Tania is using the cute baby animals image from Eureka

Susan using the gorgeous sled image from Eureka and the CD for a card base

CG turned hers into a mosaic artwork...and the brick wall image as background

Sammy used the gorgeous rose image from QKR and covered her CD with DP

Hilde also using the Baby Animals from Eureka, using the CD as the actual card...

Remember, you have to use a CD physically ON the card or AS a card: not just create a card using images from a CD. Please read the rules (see top of the page) and follow the Challenge as it is written. This challenge requires a CD to be used up/lost/broken/smashed/covered up/ in the making of the CARD.  You can do it - just think of all those old CD's laying around somewhere waiting to be transformed!!

Winners Post for Challenge # 23: Make something for Easter

I am very late for our regular post of winners (sorry)
for

Make something for Easter
it could be a card or it could be a scrap book layout, Easter basket, anything.....

I have a house full of grandchildren, and their parents  and life just gets away. So lovely to see them all, all the same

Now, we have two really generous sponsors for this challenge - so here are the two winners chosen by Hilde

The winner is:   # 70 Jane Savage
I love all the details of the baskets and the Daffodils, the cute Meljens image, a perfect Easter creation

and Bugaboo
The winner is: # 63 Jennifer Scull
This beautiful elegant and colourful card depicts why we  celebrate Easter, just lovely
TOP THREE
These are chosen by Ina today - her last job on the team as she is leaving us to concentrate on the family - we will miss her a great deal!

My Goodness - what a task. Hilde 'pinched' one of my picks but there were so many others I had to go to and fro to only pick 3.

An absolutely gorgeous box that I would love to have filled with chocolates on my dining room table for me to indulge in over Easter. A beautiful piece of work and in my favourite colours.
I loved all the embellishments added to this beautiful card. The layout is fabulous and the soft colours so pretty. The attention to detail is superb.
Again the attention to detail caught my eye. Beautifully laid out in gorgeous bright colours perfect for Spring. So pleasing to the eye.

I also give a Highly Commended to #5 - Leanne.
Her card was such a lovely cas one, showing us the true meaning of Easter and the bling just finished it of beautifully.

We hope every one had a great Easter break and enjoyed the festivities and the reason for the season!  I hope the Easter Bunny left a lot of chocolate behind him  - I know we are currently feeling the effects of chocolate overload at our house but that is all part of it, isn't it. Well, now moving on to our current challenge
